# Prepare for the PIPA (BC) changes

On December 6, 2021, the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia released the report completed by the Special Committee to modernize the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) of B.C. PIPA has not been substantively updated since it first came into law in 2003.
